Albert Magazzeni, 88, passed away November 30, 2017 peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Akron, Ohio July 3, 1929 and raised in North Hill.

He served as a Merchant Marine and also served in the US Army. He was a proud retiree of General Tire and was heavily involved in the URW. After retirement, he was employed by Konica and Summa. He was a member of the V.F.W, American Legion, Italian Club and Hibernian Club. Albert will be remembered by his love of his sport teams, TV westerns, his sense of humor, his love of golf and the way he could swing that club.

His greatest joy was sharing his life’s stories by using his unique way with words to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren where he always had a captive audience. The sound of laughter was like music to his ears. His love for his wife of 63 years was like no other, forever and eternal. His love and devotion will be forever remembered in the hearts of all of his family members who loved him dearly and will miss this great man that we called dad!

Preceded in death by parents, Alfonso and Josephine Magazeni, infant son, Daniel Sean, brother, Arthur Magazeni and son in law, Tom Thompson.
