Welcome to the memorial page for

Dolores Kay Cottle

March 5, 1932 ~ August 28, 2017 (age 85) 85 Years Old

Dolores "Kay" Cottle, 85, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, August 28, 2017. Born in Zanesville, Ohio on March 5, 1932 to the  late William and Ruth Hauserman.

Kay was an integral part of the Kenmore neighborhood since moving to Akron in the mid fifty's with her husband, Roy and son, Douglas. She raised two boys and worked for and with students and parents of Kenmore for many years. She is now at peace without pain.

Her impact on so many lives leaves a void that cannot be filled by anyone else. Her smile mischievous and her grandma style full arm hugs with twenty kisses will be missed greatly, along with her fighting spirit and gentle giving soul. God has one of his most important angles back home.

In 2007, Kay joined the Kenmore Kiwanis club which met at the Kenmore Nazarene Church. There she fell in love with and joined the church. She also became a very active part of the Kitchen Crew known as the 'Wenches" and took over the Sunday morning coffee and donut gatherings. Kay will be greatly missed by all of the "Wenches" as well as her church family.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy; son, Douglas, brother, William;she leaves to cherish her memory son, Patrick (Aileen); grandchildren, Tristin, Rachel and Ezekiel and
other family and many wonderful friends.
