Edmond (Jim) L. Evans, 92 of Akron passed away December 21, 2017. Jim was born on September 25, 1925, the beloved son of the late John and Helen (Smith) Evans.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served in both WWII and the Korean war. He retired from PPG as a Railroad worker and was a member of Victory Lodge #649 F. & A.M.
Preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Betty Jean; son, Michael; brothers, Richard and George; he leaves to cherish his memory, sister, Barbara; brother, Timm and loving friends, Tina Costanzo and Kim White.
Friends may pay their respects from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Victory Lodge # 649 F. & A.M. will conduct at Masonic Service at 3 pm. Private burial will be held at Lakewood Cemetery.
