Gary L. Gordon, 74 passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was Born on May 19, 1942 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Thomas and Vera Gordon.

 

He enjoyed long drives with his wife through PA during the fall. His most pleasurable moments were traveling with his wife to Las Vegas, and taking care of his five kids and many grandchildren. Gary served in the Navy from 1961-1963. He was proud to serve as a Commander at the American Legion Post #449. He was an avid fan of all Cleveland Sports and the Buckeyes.

 

Gary was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Marlene D. Gordon, his sisters; Diane Scott and Charlotte Bates; brother, Lincoln Gordon; he is survived by his brother, Paul (Sandy) Gordon; children, John (Kim) Genovese, Mark Genovese, Robin (Jim) Wenger, Todd (Beth) Genovese, Brad (Suzy) Genovese and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. TODAY at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron., where A Celebration of Life will be held along with Military Honors at 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
