Howard S. Koon, 69, of Lakemore fought a good fight and went home to be with the Lord, July 7, 2017. Born September 30, 1947 in Spencer, WV to the late Millard and Violet (McDonald) Koon.

Howard was raised in Lakermore, Ohio, graduated from Springfield High School in 1966 and was a veteran of the United States Army where he served from 1967-1970. Howard never met a stranger.

Preceded in death by his brother, Billy Jean; sister, Karen Lynn Koon; he leaves to cherish is memory brother, Millard Jr. (Mickey); sisters, Heniretta Sue, Valeria (Pinky) and Randy Andrick and Rosemary; nephew, Joseph (Jenny); great nieces, Cassie, Jessica, Rachelle and Tracy, cousin, Sharon K and many other family and friends.

Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at Greensburg Church of God, 4691 Massillon Rd., Green, Ohio 44232. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor David Cross officiating. Inurnment at Koon cemetery in W. VA will be held at a later date. For those that wish, memorial contributions can be made to the church is Howard's name.
