On December 12, 2016 God gained another beautiful angel. Kathleen passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones that were praying over her. God called Kathleen home and sent her parents, Tom and Bev to show her the way.

Kathleen was a gentle, loving free spirit who always looked for the good in life. She battled a long illness and we were blessed to enjoy her love for thirteen extra years. She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Beverly Lawless; brother, Thomas Lawless Jr.; cousin, Scott Lay; ex-husband, Robert Whipple and baby son, Jesse. She was the great-granddaughter of the famous Seamus Lawless; she is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Duda (Whipple); son-in-law, Charlie Duda; grandchildren, Gregory, Carla and Mimi Duda; sister, Tracy Corbin (lawless); nephew, Ryan (Michelle Hanshaw) and many close cousins and friends.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Fr. Michael B. Smith officiating. For those that wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
