Kathy M. Brouse passed away March 8, 2017. Kathy was a dedicated volunteer with Paws and Prayers animal shelter. She fostered and found homes for over one hundred cats and kittens. Kathy was truly a creative and generous person who enjoyed spending time with friends, family and working on her beautiful home. Preceded in death by her parents, Burdette and Margaret Brouse; siblings, Paul, Margaret and James Brouse; she leaves to cherish her memory, siblings, Robert (Tina) Brouse, Donna (Richard) Soltis; nieces and nephews, Lisa (Brian) Byrne, Jason (Melissa) Brouse and Courtney Brouse; great niece and nephew, Ileana Brouse and Connor Byrne. A service for Kathy will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Wintergreen Ledges Church, 1889 Vernon Odom Blvd, Akron, OH 44320. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Paws and Prayers animal shelter, 1407 Main St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. The Schlup Pucak Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brouse family.
