Welcome to the memorial page for

Debrah L (Bonner) Billman

April 29, 1955 ~ March 31, 2017 (age 61) 61 Years Old

Debrah Louise (Bonner) Billman was born in BARBERTON on April 29, 1955. Growing up she lived in Barberton with regular visits to the family farm in Belington, WVA.

She worked at Ferriot, Inc., from 1977-1991 until she retired after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Debbie loved children and pets. She also was a serious collector of Nostalgia and Pop Culture. She loved almost all music genres, especially The Blues, R&B and Rock N Roll. She was self-educated in the Golden Age of Hollywood and in her later years acquired a love of gardening.

In 1992 Debrah met her future husband, David Billman. Both shared a love of movies, fine art, music and other areas. They were married in 1996. Nothing was more important to her than her Christian Faith and her family. She touched many hearts and lives and will be missed by all. Following a seriously fractured leg and complications affecting the MS, she became a permanent resident of Pleasant View Nursing Facility. She was loved by Staff and fellow residents for her quick sense of humor and her warmth.

In 2017, Debrah suffered a sudden decline in her physical and mental health. She passed away early morning on Friday, March 31. Debbie is survived by her husband, David Billman; parents, Charles (Gene) and Lillian (Alberta) Bonner; brother, Carlton (Marie) Bonner; nephew, Ian; niece, Amanda; sister, Donna (Bill) Ray and nieces Sarah and Hannah and too many dear friends to list.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 and one hour prior to service time on Tuesday at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Strickland officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National MS Society, 6155 Rockside Road, Suite 202 Independence, OH 44131.
