Janet L (Edgington) Navis

Janet Lee Navis (Edgington) 64, went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 2018.

She was born June 20, 1953. She graduated from Kenmore High School in 1972 and lived most of her life in the Kenmore area. She married the love her life, Harry, in March 1973 and together they had 3 children. She devoted her life to raising them. Once she had grandchildren she became “Nana” to everyone who knew her. Her grandkids brought her great joy. In addition to her grandchildren, she babysat many other children and loved them like her very own.

She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was fun and silly, crafty and creative, sweet and stylish, loving and kind, forgiving and gracious. Her door and her heart were always open. She was a member of the Chapel in Green where she served in Special Needs ministry and VBS. She will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by her husband Harry, parents Lawrence and Lela Edgington, and grandson Justin Navis. She is survived by children; Jamie (JP) Fuller, Angie (Marty) Newman, Joseph (Kara) Navis, Taylor (Jordan)Sisk, and Lisa (Allan)Keith; grandchildren; Chloe, Claire, and Jack Fuller, Jacob Newman, Alex, Alivia, Ava, Niko, and Theo Navis, Katie and Kody Krulik; sisters; Donna Andrews, Connie Chartier, and Joyce Edgington, many nieces and nephews, dear friend, Linda Truan and faithful dog, Daisy.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haven of Rest ministries.
