Carl Edward Anderson, Born August 6, 1926, passed away June 15, 2015, after a short illness.
Carl served in the U.S. Army in Japan and was employed by Dixie Ohio Trucking in Akron and was a J.C. Penny warehouse dispatcher in Columbus. During his retirement, he volunteered as a tour guide at Ringling Brothers Circus Museum in Sarasota, Florida.
Preceded in death by his wife, Rita; daughter, Linda Sue; he is survived by son, David of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Jim (Pat) Anderson of Doylestown, Ohio; nieces, Susan (Bill) Genet of Doylestown, Ohio and Vicki (Dan) Bowling of Norton, Ohio; nephew, Keith (Monica) Anderson of Arroya Grande, California.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pleasant View Nursing Home in Barberton for the loving care given to Carl.
Private family services will be held.
