Catherine A. Stiffler, 78, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, January 1, 2016.
Born in Salineville, Ohio to the late John and Agnes McLaughlin, Catherine moved to the Akron area where she worked in the church rectory at St. Mary's Catholic Church and Sterling Jewelry.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she met her husband of 59 years, Gerald D. Stiffler.
Preceded in death by her parents; she is survived by her loving husband, Gerald; daughter, Deborah (Randy) Blake; son, Kevin T. Stiffler and grandson, Sean.
The family appreciates the kindness and outstanding care giving by Altercare of Wadsworth, Speret Hall and Hospice Medina Western Reserve.
Private service have been held.
