Charles R. Worthington, 88, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord December 15, 2014. Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from the Akron Fire Department after 35 years service.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Florence Worthington; beloved wife, Margaret and son, Richard. He is survived by his sons, Charles, Christopher and Jonathan Worthington and daughter, Robin (Jim) Wiggers; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Per his request cremation has taken place and private family services were held.
