Danford J Norman

Danford J. Norman, 70, of Akron passed away July 11, 2023.

Danford was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ruble (Nee Gandee); siblings, Linda, Nancy and Roger. He leaves behind the love of his life and longtime companion, Linda Saunders; brother, Richard; daughters, Alicia Norman (Noel Torres), Teri Saunders and his loving grandchildren, Emersen and Bishop Torres, Raymond and Kaylee Grimes.

Danford enjoyed bonfires, camping and the great outdoors. He also cherished spending time with his close friends. He lived life to the fullest and on his own terms. He was very respected among his family and friends, who often sought his advice and guidance. He had a great sense of humor and will be deeply missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Per his request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration honoring his life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 2-6 p.m. at Andy’s In The Park, 1751 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301
