David L. Parr, 68, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, January 15, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. David was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Preceded in death by his parents, Herb and Gerri Parr; son, David, he is survived by his daughters, Misty (Damon) Curley and Shannon Greathouse, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brother, Ron (Pat) Parr and family. He will also be missed by his best friends, Lindy Vesa and Chuck Hughes.
Friends may call from 5-7 pm Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron, where funeral services will be held at 7 pm. Inurnment will take place 2:30 pm Tuesday, January 27 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Rittman Ohio 44270.
