David E. Strouth, 66yrs of Akron, went home to be with the Lord December 24,2014. A life resident of the area, David retired from BF Goodrich after 30 years of service. David was an active member of The Temple Baptist Church, and a proud Army veteran serving in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his parents David and Hazel Puckett Strouth, sisters Deloise Gerry and Betty McDonald, he is survived by nephew Darrell (Tammy) Johnson, and nieces Kim Moyers, Tina Manns, Rita Burrell and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Schlup- Pucak Funeral Chapel, with Rev Glenn Rogers officiating. Friends may call from 11 AM until time of service. Burial at Lakewood Cemetery where VFW #3383 will render military honors. Schlup-Pucak is honored to serve the Strouth family.
