E. Reed Reynolds

E. Reed Reynolds, 90, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, July 12, 2025. A native of Pittsburgh and an area resident most of his adult life. Reed retired from B.F Goodrich where he was a plant manager for Akron and two plants, one in N. Carolina and one in S. Carolina, retiring after twenty nine years as V.P of Human Resources.

Reed was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cathrine (née Funk) Reynolds and his beloved wife Delores (Dee) in 2017. He is survived by his niece, Debra (Mike) Griffes of New Bern, NC; nephew, Jim (Diana) Wilt of Katy, TX and four great nieces and nephews.

Reed was Past Master and a member of New Franklin Lodge #803 F& A.M, A.A.S.R Valley of Akron, Tadmor Shrine and it’s Director’s Staff. He was Past Imp and Past Director of Akron Crt #80 ROJ. In his spare time Reed loved to garden and play golf.

Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the. Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday July 21, 2025 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Frances Fischer officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
