Edith L. Ely, 92, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord June 11, 2014. A life resident of the area she retired from Georgia Pacific after many years of service.
Preceded in death by her parents; Carl and Edith Silvers Emery and her husband; Allan, Edith is survived by son; John of Newark, Ohio, daughters; Dolly (William) Norris of Akron, Linda (Richard) Guard of Arcadia, Florida, six grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home. 788 Kenmore Blvd., where friends may call 1 PM until service time. Burial at Greelawn Memorial Park.
