Frances S Tavernaris

Suzanna "Sue B" Tavernaris, 81, of Barberton, Ohio passed away, Sunday, September 20, 2026 in the comfort of her home. Suzanna was born on August 1, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Francis (nee Cougenour) Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Tavernaris III. She leaves behind her loving husband of twenty years, James Johnston; sons, John and Randy Green; daughters, Kimberly Haggard and Veronica Steed; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She enjoyed the pleasures of life, such as church, fishing and bingo.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral Services will be held 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Chaplain Pat McGervey officiating.
