Gerald “Jerry” Long of Bucyrus, OH passed away on Sep. 10 th after a short illness.
He was born Feb. 23 rd , 1945 in Richwood, WV and was a graduate of Northwest High School Class of 1963. A lifelong railroad engineer, he retired from the B&M Railroad in 1990. He was a member of the Scottish and York Rites and belonged to the Golden Rule Masonic Lodge #562.
Jerry is remembered for his love of fast cars and was an avid hunter and fisher.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Wanda. He is survived by his partner Jackie of Bucyrus, OH, children, Scott (Candy) and Matthew of Buckhannon, WV, Jessica of Lexington, MA, grandchildren Sutton, Danae, and Tyler of Buckhannon, WV and many family members and friends.
Memorial services will be private.
