Gloria P. Batchik, 96, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, February 17, 2014.
Gloria was a life resident of the Akron area and spent 20 years' at Rempel's as a Toy Painter.
She enjoyed bowling, reading and crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Allen and Nina (Brickner) Probert, beloved husband, Emlin and son; Michael. She is survived by her sons; David (Bridgett) and Terry (Linda Bloniarz) Batchik, ex-daughters-in-law; Betty, Charlene and Jody, seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2-3 pm Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, 788
Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where a memorial service will be held at 3 pm with Rev. Bill Sterner officiating.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at Lockwood Cemetery
