Harold G Buren
September 9, 1937 — October 2, 2014
Harold G. Buren, 77, of Akron went to be with his Savior on October 2, 2014.
Harold was born in Akron, Ohio on September 3, 1937. He was the youngest son
to the late John and Mary Buren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by his best friend and twin sister, Carol (Gerald) Bourn; sisters, Evelyn (Fred) Shira,
Dorothy (Woody) Sholley, Eva (Jim) Gibson, Helen (Ray) Goodrich, Alice (John) Brooks
and Ruth Glover; brother, Al (Roseann) Buren. He is survived by his sister, Rosemarie
(Richard) McDaniel and numerous nieces and nephews.
Harold will forever be remembered as a great neighbor, jokester and beloved uncle and friend
by those who knew and loved him.
Friends and family are asked to gather Monday, October 6, 2014 at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, 2101 17th St Akron at 10 am for calling hours followed
by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am with Fr. Michael B. Smith officiating. Burial
to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those that wish, memorial contributions may
