Jack W Wright

Jack W. Wright, 94, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, August 6, 2019. He was a life resident of the area and born on May 7, 1925 to the late Frank and Elsie (Wellock) Wright. He retired from Firestone after 42 years' service and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He enjoyed hanging out at the Pegasus, watching the Browns, Indians, Nascar and spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Katie and sister, Mary Jane; he leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Judy (Doug) Couts (Wright), Diana (Jim) Murphy (Wright) and son, Jim (Charlotte) Hudnall; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his Pegasus family.

Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Monday August 12, 2019 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Crow officiating. Private inurnment at a later time.
