James "Jim" G. Parsons, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Barberton, Ohio. He was born on August 18, 1965, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Jim's journey through life was marked by his dedication to his family, his passion for his work, and his love for the hobbies that brought him joy.

Jim graduated from Carls Bad High School in New Mexico, a foundation that set him on a path toward a fulfilling career as a welder at KDM in Kenmore. His devotion to his craft was rivaled only by the love he held for those around him.

He will be fondly remembered for his warm presence and his genuine passion for being with his family. Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia; his three sons, James (Shauna), Bill, and Steven; and his daughter Ashley (Brian) Abbott. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Carter, Daveyona, Angelica, Aiden, Brian, Bella, and Abriana, along with his great-grandchildren, Zayden and Paisley, who will carry forward the love he bestowed upon them.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Parsons, who provided him with a strong foundation and values that he passed on to his own family.
