James L. Nicewonger, 66, of New Franklin went home to be with the Lord, July 27, 2015. He was a member of Coventry-Akron #83 F&AM.
Preceded in death by his parents, James and Olive Nicewonger; he is survived by his loving wife, Linda; daughter, Jaimee (Jonathon) Barbee; grandchildren, James, JoAnna and Jeremiah Barbee; sister, Barbara Martin of Hudson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron, where a Masonic service will be held at 6 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Glen Rogers Jr. officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
