Kay L Acree

Kay L. Acree passed away on October 11, 2023. She was born in Akron, Ohio on January 14, 1942.

Kay worked and retired from Roadway. She lived a full and colorful life and was always the life of the party and loved to do goofy things.

Kay was a loving mother, wife, aunt, grandmother and best friend. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Ruth (nee Warren) Jennings; husband, George Acree; daughter, Debbie Grof. She is survived by her children, Rick (Carrie) and Lisa Acree; grandchildren, Carl Robinson, Samantha Acree, Shaun Acree; extended family, Dale and Vicky Garrett; her dog, Pebbles who she loved and good friend Joanie McArdle

Friends may call from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls. A memorial luncheon will be held following burial at the American Legion Post #449.
