Loretta L Toomey

Loretta Lee Toomey, 87 passed away August 10,2024. Born March 5, 1937 in Akron, Ohio.

She was a member of the Manchester Woman's Club and the Red Hat Society. She was employed for fifteen years at the Hoover Company. She was also a member of AA and had forty seven years of sobriety.

Preceded in death by her son, John Darren Toomey. She is survived by her sister, Shelby Werling and brother, Robert (Linda) Cochran; daughters, Geraldine Hudak, Beverly (Mark) Drope and Laura (Daniel) Cross; daughter-in-law, Nancy Toomey; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

She was so very loved and will be deeply missed.

Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Schlup- Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. A Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
