Margaret A. Ayers

Margaret A. Ayers, 77, of Wadsworth went home to be with the Lord, Friday, September 18, 2026. She was born on November 4, 1948, in Barberton, Ohio to the late Melvin and Jennie (nee Dewitt) Edwards. 

She was a graduate of Barberton High School, a member of The Spiritual Temple of Praise in Norton and enjoyed sewing, crafting, spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. She spent many years as a cashier at the Salvation Army and Walmart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; partner, Brian Ball; siblings, Robert, Melvin, Don, Alvin and Mary. She is survived by her daughters, Shellie (Jack) Gidley and Tammy (Rick) Mitchell; grandchildren, Desiree, Brandi (Brandon Kloster), Matthew and Gregory; great grandchildren, Kaydence, Gabriel, Noah, Briella, Lincoln, Mark, Abigail, Deona and Elijah; siblings, Betty (Roy) Trout, Janet Schultz, Fran Doolittle and James Edwards.

Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron with Pastor Rev. Ron Chaffman officiating. Burial to follow at Lakewood Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to service time.
