Mary Ann Pierson, 78, of Akron, passed away August 14, 2025. Born August 19, 1946, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Olen and Nancy (Ring) Pierson.
Mary Ann graduated from Kenmore High School in 1964. She worked in the grocery industry for over 20 years, working for Apples, Fazio’s, Country Counter, Giant Eagle and retiring in 2002 from Dairy Mart.
Mary Ann is survived by her sisters, Betty Lynn and Kay; brother, John Scott all of Florida; daughter, Kimberly of Lake Twp, OH; grandson, Tyler of Lakewood, CO; niece, Jamie and nephews, Sean and Nick.
The family would like to thank Green Village Skilled Nursing Facility and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care of Mary Ann during her final days.
As per her wishes, Mary Ann has been cremated and there will be no services.
