Melody M Hurd-Gross

Melody M. Hurd-Gross, 59, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 18, 2026. She was born September 24, 1966 in Evanston, Illinois to Robert and Margaret (nee Walker) Hurd.

Melody was sweet, loyal and a true friend until the end. She went out of her way to help people and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Just as anyone knew her, she was beautiful inside and out. Melody was the most beautiful soul out of anyone I met. We all loved her goodness and any soul that knew her loved her to. 

Melody prayed for everyone and a better world. She was a good Christian and knowing her brought me closer to God. When my mind was troubled her sweet voice and combtones would sooth my soul. Melody will be missed on this earth, but I feel she is with us all. I have a real convince in my soul and I'm sure you do to. I fell she is with us right now. She was an angel on earth, now she is an angel in heaven.
