Ray M. Burgy Jr, 63, of Akron passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2017.
A life resident of the area, Ray was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved motorcycles and fishing.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Emma Burgy; brother, Gary; niece, Karyn J. Mullholand; nephew, Andrew Burgy; he is survived by his daughters, Emma (Anthonio) Burgy-Burnette, Tamela (Patrick) DuChaine; brother, Bud (Mary); sister's, Sharon (Boyd) Mullholand, Bonnie (Mike) Enright, Betty Miller, Tamela (Ron) Remer, Pamela (CW) Fisk, Joanne Coulter; grandchildren, Josiah, Sarah and Hannah Burnette, Patrick and James DuChaine; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday January 14, 2017 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron with Pastor Boyd Mullholand officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
