Robert L. Jackson, 88, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, Saturday July 25, 2026. He was born July 2, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Floyd and Katherine (nee Eschel) Jackson.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved going to church, working hard and enjoying life. He loved walking around Lake Anna and traveling around on the bus just to get around. He really enjoyed being around his kids, grandkids and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters and beloved wife, Diana. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Trudy (Raymond) Hagerty; grandchildren, Ashley (Shawn) Biggar and Ethan (Taya) Hagerty; great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Scarlet, Gwendolyn, Dani, Atlas and Winter.
A Celebration of Life will be held 5 p.m. on Monday August 3, 2026 at the Cornerstone Christian Assembly, 1531 Ettle Dr, Barberton, Ohio 44203.
