Ronald Wayne Melton passed away on June 19, 2026. He was born July 14, 1941 in Akron, Ohio to the late John and Maxine (nee Howard) Melton. He was a veteran of the United States serving in the 2nd Armored Division of the Armed Forces ,Fort Hood Texas,1959.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Will Melton; mother, Maxine Vivian; sister, Joyce Zwisler and brother in-law, Robert Zwisler Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Steve) Kirby and son, Ronald (Rachelle) Melton; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held with Entombment at Lakewood Cemetery.
