William C Linn

William C Linn left this world to be with the Lord on July 1st, 2025. He was born September 15, 1947 in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Clarence and Mary (nee Heston) Linn.

He was an Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. His trade was as a heavy equipment operator with specialty in operating crane equipment. His side passions included racing (watching, advising, and participating) and working on everything but mainly automobiles (he certainly had passionate language in doing so sometimes). He was a caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Uncle Billy (UB) to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jimmy, Bobby, and Pat; sisters, Sandy and Sharon; sons. Dana (Jessica) Boyce and Greg Boyce. He is survived by wife, Kay Linn; sons, William (Candy), Robert (Pam); daughter, Tammy Tarter (John Inch); sisters, Jackie and Betty; grandchildren, Suzanne Linn, Atticus Linn, Ashley Tarter, Kayley Tarter, Samual Adcock, Sienna Adcock, Czara Vanicheck, Berea (Luke) Bruno, Austin Boyce, Nicole Boyce; great grandchildren, Apollo, Rhea, Vivian, Violet, Maddox, Roman, and Averi; nephews, Chip (Maria) Linn, Jeremy Linn, William (Rene) Wandling, Rob (Kathy) Watkins, Scott (Lisa) Straight, Erik Peltz, Jack Holderbaum; nieces Misty Linn, Jodi (Robbie) Holderbaum, Traci (Ed) Peltz, Brittany (Kevin) Breehl, Sara (Trevor) Burkhart, Andi Holderbaum. There are a number of others that might not be listed but know that he loved them all.

Friends and family can call from 5-8pm, Friday July 11, 2025 at the Schlup-Pucak and Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. A service will be held at 8pm with Rev. Mike Freeman officiating.
