William J Longfellow Jr.

William Joseph Longfellow Jr. 74, of Akron suddenly passed away on May 26, 2025. Survived by his mother, Patsy (Swigeart) Martin and the late William Longfellow Sr.

He retired from GoJo Industries after 21 years.

William is survived by his loving daughter, Shawna (Roger) Harmon; grandson, Seth Longfellow and great grandson, Sora Longfellow, his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

My dad enjoyed his grandchild and spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, embroidery and poetry. He had a flair for storytelling that would leave a smile on your face. He loved telling jokes and making somebody's day a lot brighter.

My dad's devotion to his family in unwavering kindness earned him a special place in everyone's heart.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
