Together Again
BARBERTON, OHIO – Dorris J. Moore, devoted wife, is reunited with her one true love, husband John Moore in Heaven as of Monday, May 9, 2022. She is loved and missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. She leaves behind son, Jim and his wife, Terry of Valley View, Ohio; daughter, Mary and husband, John Stein of Akron, and grandchildren, Tara Stein, Erin Stein and Andrew Brown, as well as many other dear loved ones including Patty and Marc Newman, Evey and Jim Bachtel, Diane Queer, April Ikey, Pat and Larry Porter and their children, Ryan and Heather Harris, and her friends and neighbors at Alexander Square, especially Mike Noah.
Mom will be laid to rest next to Dad at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron at a future date. Services provided by Charles Wilson at Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, Akron. A memorial gathering will also be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank Dr. John C. Cook, Dr. Valarie Cabrera, and Summa Barberton Hospital Dr.’s Manz, McPherson, Saleem, Haque, Naghinini, Nepal, and Parajuli, Pastor Dave and Hospice Spiritual Care Coordinator Kevin Dejournett, the ER Department, the HICU Team, the Palliative Care Team, Therapy Team, and the Hospice Floor Team for the high-quality care and genuine compassion they all provided. Thanks also to Pleasant View Nursing Home, especially Therapists Jack, Sigrid, Danielle, and “the Two Jackies,” STNA Quamaine, Nurses Matt and Leah, Deacon Robin Adair, and Mom’s “Guardian Angel” Anne Sweeney. All of them gave genuine care and concern for Mom’s well-being in this life and the next.
