Obituary

Emma (Pansy) Hodgman (nee Echard), age 87, joined the angels in heaven on September 10, 2022.
 
Emma was a lifelong resident of Barberton/Akron who devoted her life to loving and caring for her family. She loved baking, cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Her love of Mickey Mouse, Elvis and Christmas  was apparent throughout her home.
 
She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Harold Copley; her son-in-law, Cliff Boggs; her parents; three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty eight years, Jim (Hawkeye); her children, Kathy White (John), Terri Boggs, Corrina Eastman (John), Mark Hodgman, Sandi Kopinsky (Ed) and Rob Hodgman; sister, Jo Gordon; fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
 
Special thanks to the Hospice nurses of Crossroads, especially Nurse Jackie, for the extraordinary care, compassion and support during this difficult time.
 
The family will hold a private mass at a later time
