Esther Jane Sine

Esther Jane Sine went home to be with the Lord December 15, 2020. She was born on October 9, 1924 in Akron to the late Albert and Blanche (nee Taylor) Stover.

She was an active member for over fifty years at Firestone Park United Methodist Church where she was active in the Altar Guide, Trustee and a custodian. She was a fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star and Past Matron of Fern Leaf Chapter #422 four times and Grand Rep to the State of Conn. Most of all she lived for and loved her family.

The grandchildren will always remember grandma for her famous ham and scalloped potatoes and those deviled eggs!. Mom never met anyone she did not like, nor they like her as well. She made over 263 afghans and gave each away showing her love and affection to those she cared about.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald L. Sine Sr.; son, Robert W. Sine; son-in-law, Les E. Dyser. She is survived by her children, Anne Croghan; Don Jr. (Hope) Sine; Pat Sine, Sue Dyser; sister, Irene Debord and special cousin, Linda Hess; grandchildren, Traci (Greg) Cook, Shawn (Lori) Croghan, Rob (Jenn) Sine, Kara (Brian) Gray, Misty (Jeff) Franklin, Jeffrey Sine, Bryan (Dianna) Dyser and Emily Dyser; thirteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to all those at Pleasant view Assisted Living who cared for mom in such a loving way. We love you mom, you will forever be in our hearts.

Private family services will be held and a celebration of life will take place at a later time. For those that wish, memorial contributions in Esther's name can be made to Firestone Park United Methodist Church, 250 N. Firestone Blvd Akron, Ohio 44301.
