Joseph G Pangburn

Joseph G. Pangburn, 85, of BARBERTON went home to be with the Lord August 5, 2022. He was born March 13, 1937 in Akron, Ohio to the late Gregory and Adeline (nee Cassidy) 

Pangburn.

 

He was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School class of 1955, a member of IBEW and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Joe was a life-long electrician beginning his electrical career at Collen Electric before becoming owner of Kenmore Electric for over twenty-five years. He loved his family, working around the house inside and out, collecting coins and most of all working with electricity.

 

Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Shirley; son, Michael; sisters, Betty, Barbara and Helen. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Frances; children, William (Debbie), Mark (Susan), Donald (Karen), Charles (Susan); Frances's children, Gary (Ann) Hemminger and Cheryl (Mark) Gruic); thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

 

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday August 11, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, corner of 16^th St and Battles Ave with Fr. Sam Ciccolini officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. For
