Richard Rardin Obituary

Richard S. Rardin passed away suddenly on November 17, 2022. He is now at peace within the arms of the lord. Richard was born August 19, 1964 in Akron, Ohio and lived his entire life in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where he also graduated from high school in 1983.

Richard was a professional tree climber and worked for various companies such as Falls Tree and Asplundh. He also taught is only son the craft and profession he was truly passionate about. In his spare time, he also enjoyed running his parent's antique store which was Riverwalk Antiques on Front St. in the ninety's to early two thousand's. He also collected, refurbished and sold many items on his own over the years. Anyone that knew him has a story to tell.

Richard's contagious smile and quick wit instantly made him a friend to everyone he met. Richard loved to tell stories about his times in the business, growing up and the many antiques he brought back to life with his hard work and passion he gained from his parents.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Rardin in 2017 and his oldest brother, Greg Rardin in 2021. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Rardin (nee Keller); brother, John Rardin; his only son, Matthew; three grandchildren, Julie, Collin and Angelina as well as many other family members from the Rardin and Keller families.
