Terry Henry Obituary
Terry A. Henry, 73 passed away suddenly on January 26, 2023 at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 17,1949 in a Kentucky farmhouse. Terry
was the son of Louella and George Henry.
Terry served 25 years as an Akron City Police Officer and was proud to serve his community. His fellow officers still remember him as the officer that once stopped all traffic on Market Street to let a mother duck and her babies cross the street.
Terry was well known for his great sense of humor, at times his sense of mischievousness, and his passion to help others.
His pride and joy were his three grandchildren, Gage Mosko (his “Little Buddy“), Aria Mosko (his “Purple Goober“) and Eviana Mosko (his “Tazzy“). There was hardly a day he missed spending time with them and making them laugh, and he had a special understanding and bond with his autistic grandson.
Along with his grandchildren, Terry leaves behind his two daughters, Victoria Mosko and Haley (Nick) Augusta, his wife of thirty years and best friend of over forty years, Cynthia Henry, along with many other friends and family members he cared about.

Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron with Chaplain Stacie Maynard officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow at Greenlawn memorial Park.
