Leon and Family. We were so sorry to hear of Bettys Passing. What a good friend and neighbor she was. She gave me words of wisdom when we first became friends that I will never forget. She was a special lady and we cared very much for her. You all have our deepest sympathy.

Dear Leon and Family: We are very saddened at the loss of your Dear Mother Betty. Betty was a dear and long-time friend of my Mother Kathleen Cogar. The two of them were bingo and card buddies up until the time of mom's death in 1991. As a child growing up you were at our house many times playing with my brothers, Larry and David, as well as your belated sister. Your mom was a very kind and jovial person. She always had a smile and hug for all of us. She and mom would laugh and laugh over the silliest things and spent many hours enjoying a warm friendship. We had heard that bad health surrounded her for many years, and I am sorry for that as she was a woman who was always on the go. Our father still plays bingo at 93 and would see your mom periodically over the years, she always had a warm greeting for him. There are no words to express to you, other than she will be missed by many, but my memories are of a woman who loved her husband and children beyond measure and I know her grandchildren as well. Be at Peace and know all is well and she is smiling down on all of you. Perhaps her and my Mother are enjoying a came of bingo or Pokkeno. God Bless You and your family, and my God grant you loving Peace. May God Bless Betty and hold her forever Loving in the Arms of Beloved Jesus. Much Love, Clarence, Margie, David and Larry Cogar...... and Kathleen.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Betty. We used to play together when we were kids. She spent more time at our house than hers. On my many visits to Akron, I would always visit with her and Leon. Over the years we have always kept in touch. I was very saddened to hear of her passing. This great lady will always be a part of my life, now in my memories. May she rest in peace.

It was a rare and happy moment of reunion on one of my visits to Ohio years ago when Aunt Betty's two sisters (my Mom, Jo, and my Aunt Anne) and I all went together to Bingo. There were lots of hugs and laughter and not much winning. I will always remember Aunt Betty's smile, her laughter, and love. She was a jovial, giving, caring person and very resourceful and hard working. May she rest in peace now as she leaves her physical struggles behind. My love and heartfelt condolences go out to Leon and his family.
