So saddened to read this in the ABJ. Although it's been years since I've seen Dee Dee, she is still family and was my cousin. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. God Bless.

Dearest Mommy,

There are no words to express the shear emptiness, sadness and loneliness I've felt in my heart and soul since you left us. I am full of regret for things I've said and things I didn't say; full of overwhelming regret for not taking the time out to call you or to come to visit you. What I wouldn't give to tell you I love you, or to have a conversation with you. I'm most saddened by the thought that you really didn't know just how much I loved you because our relationship has always been so different than the one you shared with Sherrae. I envy her for having had a close relationship with you, and for the time she spent with you.

I will one-day see you in heaven and have another opportunity to be the daughter I should have been while you were here.
